Ross Township Trustee, Joseph D. Shudick, Jr. is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Andrew Niksich as Ross Township Softball Director. With Andy's vast experience we are certain Ross Township's Hidden Lake Park will develop into Northwest Indiana's premier softball destination. Andy has and extensive and impressive coaching resume with over 25 years of coaching experience. He served seven seasons as the Varsity Assistant Coach for the Merrillville High School softball program before taking over that program at Boone Grove High School. In his five years running the Boone grove program, Andy's team won 2 Sectional Championships and he was selected as The Times Softball Coach of the Year in 2008. Andy has taught Business & Computers at Merrillville High School for the past 16 years. he is a 1993 graduate of Purdue University Calumet with a major in Business Management and resides in Hobart with his wife, Jennifer, and their four children.
