The Ross Township Trustee's Office provides a number of services for township residents. In addition to facilities and events listed on their respective pages, the Township offers the following services:

Township Assistance
Emergency assistance is provided to Township residents, based on household size and income. Service is by appointment. A workfare program enables recipients to work at Township facilities in exchange for the relief received.
Food Pantry Referrals
Qualified residents are referred to the local food pantry, which operates Friday mornings from 9am to noon.
Area Agency Support
Ross Township acts as a referral agent to area social service agencies, which can provide help to those needing assistance. Reference brochures are available for both senior citizens and families in need.
Energy Assistance
Ross Township is the only Lake County township which takes applications for residents who qualify for the program. Appointments are necessary for the program, which runs from the State determined dates.
